BASC – Business Alliance for Secure Commerce – is an international business alliance, created to promote secure international trade in cooperation with governments and international organizations. This alliance establishes standards and procedures in order to regulate all international business transactions.

Organizations do not operate in a vacuum. There are several parties that may have a legitimate interest in what organizations offer in terms of management and security. These parties include, among others: employees, customers / suppliers, communities, shareholders, contractors, as well as government entities.

The importance of security and control management has been hightlighted in recent official reports and in a vast amount of legislation on the subject. Security is an important aspect of the international supply chain.

This international certification is granted to all those companies whose Security and Control Management System complies with the BASC standards, so they are authorized to operate following the regulations of the international standard.

The certificates are issued yearly and on a special security paper that will identify their authenticity and validity.
